The Sanctuary of our church is still in the process of being transformed from classic Methodist to the ancient aesthetic and theological infrastructures of Orthodoxy. Transforming the interior of the church to follow the traditional aesthetics is a massive undertaking. We are blessed to have many talented parishioners, who provide expertise in carpentry, construction, painting, and many more skills, who have been diligently working to accomplish this goal. While we have made good progress, there is still much work to be done.

The church hall is the focal point of our community fellowship. This space enables the parish to host meals, bake sales, conduct important parish meetings, and many other activities, which help grow and support our parish. There are many church hall projects we need to complete to ensure structural and operational integrity such as fixing foundation, plumbing, and building system issues.

Our Parish Church also has a small chapel being built inside the sanctuary, which was funded by a generous donation. The chapel will be dedicated to St. Joachim & St. Anna, the grandparents of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

The Chapel is currently under construction, the work being spearheaded by experts on our building committee and will follow the traditional Athonite style of chapel aesthetics and architecture.

Our church, built in 1872, was home to a Methodist congretion until we purchsed it in 2021. When we moved in, we inherited eight fine old stained glass windows which, though not iconographic in the Orthodox Byzantine school, skillfully feature simple and biblical symbolism. As stewards of a historic building in our local community, we have a civic obligation to preserve these unique artifacts, and they currently need specialized repair work in order to not fall apart.
